	ABOUT ONTARIO BELTING While most entrepreneurs are familiar with growing from the ground up, when Roy Osmond started Ontario Belting in 1938, the company was operating out of a basement. It didn't take long for the former plant manager to transform his operation onto new ground, moving locations in Toronto and diversifying his product line. Ontario Belting evolved into a family business as Roy's son Dave steadily became more involved, learning the ropes and lending a hand wherever he could. Between Roy's guidance and Dave's tireless efforts, the company strengthened it's operations and expanded its services, eventually changing the name to Ontario Belting & Power Transmission Co.,Ltd in 1978.
	By 1983 Dave led Ontario Belting through a major expansion by developing a 30,000 square foot operation in Woodbridge Ontario Canada. More recently, thanks to steady growth and the support of an ever expanding clientele, Ontario Belting & Power Transmission opened a 2, 500 square foot branch in Scarborough Ontario Canada, complete with a fully stocked warehouse and experienced staff prepared to service customers. Clearly, the commitment to the long-term success of Ontario Belting & Power Transmission is a tribute to a dedicated family and devoted staff. True to form, the Osmond family maintains 100 percent ownership of the company and continues to uphold its worldwide reputation for superior belting products and attentive, professional service.

	As it has from its founding in 1938 and everyday since, Ontario Belting & Power Transmission proudly stands by every piece of equipment it sells, every customer it serves, and every staff member who has committed their time and effort to building this successful company from the basement up!
